Travel to Chalet Berwyn
Chalet Berwyn is accessible by plane, car and train.
Flights: The nearest airport is Turin (Caselle) in Italy with a transfer time of 11/2 hours, followed by Chambery & Grenoble at approx 2 1/4 hours.
Airlines flying to Turin include Easyjet, Ryanair and BA.
To Chambery, Flybe, Jet2 and Snowjet and to Grenoble Easyjet and Ryanair.
Transfers to & from the chalet: We have an 8 seater minibus that we use for transfers with plenty of space for luggage & skis, prices range from 350 to 450 euros for a return trip.
Trains: Take the Eurostar to Paris and an overnight or day train to Briancon. You can also get to Oulz in Italy only 45 mins away.
Drive: Approximately 12 hours from Calais , coming into Briancon either via Grenoble and the Col du Lautaret or through the Frejus tunnel and Montgenevre, (tunnel tolls approx 27 euros)

Although the roads to the Chalet are cleared regularly you should have a set of chains, if these are new to you we suggest you have a practice run at home in the dry, by the side of a mountain road in a blizzard is not the place to learn how to fir chains or find out they don’t fit!
